NIH Survey on definition of Behavioural and Social Sciences Research (BSSR)

The Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research (OBSSR) invites input on a revised definition of behavioural and social sciences research (BSSR) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

The field has evolved since the definition was created in 1996 and an updated definition will improve NIH’s ability to describe, assess, and monitor NIH BSSR funding.

The OBSSR invites input from behavioural and social science researchers in academia and industry, health care professionals, patient advocates and advocacy organizations, scientific or professional organizations, federal agencies, and other interested members of the public.

Deadline for responses: February 22, 2019
