The IBTNetwork website uses WordPress to create its pages and provide user accounts and services for its members-only area. All interactions with the website, even for anonymous visitors, take place over an encrypted (SSL) connection.
Information that you provide to us
Any personal information you provide to us including and similar to your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address will not be released, sold, or rented to any entities or individuals outside of our organization. Please note that member profile information is visible to IBTN personnel and may be visible to other IBTN members based on your profile’s privacy options.
We may disclose the personal information we collect through this site, when we, in good faith, believe disclosure is appropriate to comply with the law (or a court order or subpoena); to prevent or investigate a possible crime, such as fraud or identity theft; to enforce this agreement or other agreements that govern your use of this Site; or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, or others.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Information that is collected automatically
Like most websites, IBTNetwork has access to information that web browsers, mobile devices, and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, IP address, unique device identifiers, language preference, referring site, the date and time of access, operating system, and mobile network information. We use WordPress.com Stats to store and process this information so we can know the number of visitors on our site and what posts and pages are the most popular. We cannot personally identify you or your browsing habits using this information.
In addition, our web hosting provider (Green Geeks) keeps its own server access logs which may contain similar information, as is customary in the industry. We have no control over these logs, although we may view them upon request.
How long we retain your data
Visitors to the website may submit information to IBTN without signing in through a membership account. This data (reservations, event surveys, contact form submissions, etc.) is temporal in nature and will be deleted from the website after it has been used for its intended purpose.
For users that register on our website (i.e., IBTN members), we store the personal information you provide in your user profile. You can see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time (except you cannot change you username). Website administrators can also see and edit this information. When you delete your website account, all personally-identifiable data related to that account will be deleted from the website.
What rights you have over your data
If have you submitted any information to IBTN through this website, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Information submitted through our contact form may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Embedded content from external websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

First-party cookies set for registered users (i.e., IBTN members)
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you sign in to the site, WordPress will also a cookie on your computer to note your username and the fact that you have logged in – this permits you to view and store data on the site in accordance with your access level (member, administrator, etc.). The “logged-in” cookie is deleted after your browsing session ends, or possibly up to two weeks later if you have checked the “Remember me” box on the sign in form.
If you fail to sign in several times in a row (perhaps by mistyping your username or password), WordPress with ask you to answer a simple math question to make sure that you are a real person. WordPress then uses a cookie to remember that you have successfully verified that you are not an automated program trying to break into the site.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
